Appeal launched by British Transport Police after girl, 17, was sexually assaulted on train from Grantham to Skegness
An appeal has been launched after a girl, 17, was sexually assaulted on a train.
A 17-year-old girl was travelling to Skegness on the train from Grantham, when a man approached her, asking inappropriate questions, before sexually assaulting her.
British Transport Police today (Monday) released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
The incident happened around 3.30pm on Monday August 21.
A transport police spokesperson said: “Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 514 of August 21.
“Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
