Newton House Care Home in Grantham features exhibition from local artist




A Grantham care home was treated to an exhibition by a local artist.

Newton House Care Home in Barrowby Road celebrated the works of artist Matthew Cutforth by holding an exhibition of his work earlier this month.

Matthew’s speciality and passion is African Wildlife, and the exhibition featured some of his most recent pieces.

Refreshments and snacks were prepared by the home’s hospitality team featuring a selection of cheeses and wine.

Sonia Fairhurst, general manager at Newton House Care Home said: “Art is very popular with everyone who lives at Newton House and creative activities are always a favourite.

“The art exhibition is going to be a very special event for us and we are honoured to be able to display beautiful artwork created by Matthew and to welcome people from the community who want to enjoy viewing these wonderful pieces.”

Newton House Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, and provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 120 residents from respite care to long term stays.
