Witness appeal following serious assault in Grantham which saw man taken to hospital with serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Grantham.

At 5.25pm on Saturday (October 28), Lincolnshire Police received a report that a man in his 30s was assaulted on East Avenue.

He sustained serious injuries to his leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.

It was reported that the victim’s house keys and phone were also taken during the incident.
