Former Buzz Bingo hall in Grantham is on the market for £1.2 million

A bingo hall in Grantham is on the market for £1.2 million.

The former premises of Buzz Bingo in Venture Way is for sale through Eddisons incorporating Banks Long & Co at a guide price of £1,200,000.

Offering just over 15,000 square feet in space, the building was used by Buzz Bingo from February 2019.

In March 2023, the Grantham branch was reported to be facing closure along with eight other Buzz Bingo venues, and it closed permanently earlier this year.

The site sits on the junction of Venture Way and Trent Road, opposite the Meres Leisure Centre.

The bingo hall is made from a steel portal frame and a fibre-cement sheet clad roof, with a pedestrian entrance porch at the front.

There is a separate fire exit and a vehicular access door on the side.

The interior has been fitted out as a bingo hall, including a main open plan trading area finished with carpeted floors, painted walls and suspended ceilings including inset lighting.

There are further ancillary offices, catering and staff facilities, as well as toilets and storage space.

There is an “extensive” car park on the site of around 1.9 acres.

The listing explained that the property is available for sale “subject to the occupational lease to Buzz Group Limited which is drafted on full repairing and insuring terms and is due to expire on June 7, 2025.”
