Broken-down vehicle causes A1 lane closure at Stoke Rochford

A lane of the A1 is closed due to a broken-down vehicle, leading to delays.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that one lane of the A1 northbound carriageway at Stoke Rochford is closed due to a broken-down vehicle.

The broken-down vehicle was reported at 8.20am and the lane closure has caused traffic in the area.

The AA’s live traffic map is reporting congestion between Stoke Rochford and Colsterworth going northbound.

A police spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area while we await recovery.”
