NHS-themed bench donated by Roll n Scroll to improve outdoor space at Grantham Hospital

An NHS-themed bench was donated to improve an outdoor space at Grantham Hospital for patients and staff.

Chris Kennedy, owner of fabrication business Roll n Scroll, delivered the bench to the hospital’s Emergency Assessment Unit last Tuesday (October 31).

He donated the bench as a way of saying thank you to key workers in the NHS, and has made other donations of benches around the town.

This came after Emily Darby, a deputy sister on the EAU, put out an appeal for items to improve the department’s outdoor area for patients.

Chris said that the team were “over the moon”, when he made the delivery.

“Everybody was happy and pleased to see the bench!” added Chris.

“Thank you Emily for taking delivery of this bench and also thank you to our great NHS service for what they do and also all key workers.”
