Two businesswomen have decided to join together in a collective and open a pop-up shop in Grantham selling naturally fragranced candles and soaps alongside handmade crafts.

Sally Fraser who in her own business SF Crafts creates and sells a range of naturally fragranced soy and beeswax candles, as well as moisturising handmade soaps, has united with Jackie Dickson of Sunshine Cottage and her unique variety of crafts and gifts.

The pair decided to join forces and are now part of a business collective based in Grantham Creations on Wharf Road, at the former site of Grantham Furniture.

Also in the same premises are Restore and Relove, who specialise in restored furniture, and Jim’s Diecast, selling both new and old diecast toys. There are plans for more businesses to join the collective.

Sally, who has previous experience selling gifts and crafts while working at a Sleaford shop, saw the benefits when setting up on her own of working with similar retailers.

Sally and Jackie also had a stall at Thursday’s Christmas Market in aid of Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship.

Grantham Creations is open Monday to Saturday, from 9.30am to 4pm, as well as later on some nights and some Sundays during December.
