A Grantham care home held its monthly church service, which was “packed”.

Richard House Care Home, in Gorse Road, held its monthly church service this week.

Anita Asken, activities coordinator at the care home, said that it was “a packed service”, with standing room only.

She added that residents sung hymns that ”would have reached the heavens”, as there were so many people.

“If there are that many people for next month’s service we might need an extension even a Cathedral,” said Anita.

She went on to thank the Grantham Church of Ascension and vicar Sam Parsons for her continued support.
