Cars hosed down by Corby Glen fire crew in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity




Firefighters washed cars non-stop for four hours in aid of a good cause.

The crew at Corby Glen fire station grabbed their buckets, sponges and hoses on Saturday to scrub up vehicles in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity – raising £720.

Taking part were watch manager Bryan Lynch, crew managers Chris Smith and Paul Warren, firefighters Darren Huxtable, Matthew Whitelocks and John Ashby and recruit Nick Robins.

Bryan said: "The team at the station would like to thank the local community who gave us such fantastic support on the day and raised much-needed funds for such a worthwhile cause."
