Celebration as nurse marks 30 years of ‘hard work and passion’ at Newton House Care Home in Grantham

A staff member celebrated 30 years of service at a Grantham care home.

Tina Buggins received a 30 years’ service award on Wednesday (September 20) from Newton House Care Home in Barrowby Road.

A “fabulous” party involving staff and residents was held for Tina, who works as a nurse.

Karen Olivant, part of the home’s activities team, said that the party celebrated Tina’s 30 years of “hard work, dedication and passion” to both the team and Newton House’s residents.

“We celebrated in the way that our residents love,” said Karen. “And that was with a fabulous party with live musical entertainment from the lovely Sue Tinkler and some delicious refreshments made by our brilliant catering team.

“Newton House are both delighted and honoured that Tina has dedicated an incredible 30 years’ service to Barchester Healthcare (which runs Newton House).”
