Prestige Hair & Beauty Salon in Grantham to host charity pamper event for the Alzheimer’s Society and Blue Cross UK

A Grantham salon will hold a pamper day to raise money for two charities.

The Prestige Hair & Beauty Salon in Castlegate is hosting its second charity event on December 16 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society and Blue Cross UK.

Salon owner Louise Haylock hosted the first Christmas pamper at the business last year, collecting £310 for St Barnabas Hospice.

Last year's Christmas pamper event was the very first of its kind at the salon.

The pamper day will run from 10.30am until 4.30pm and will include a selection of food and drinks.

Among the services will be nail painting, glitter tattoos, hair plaiting, hair glitter and face paints.

There will also be an area for people to stock up on last minute Christmas presents.

Tickets are £20 per child and will include a choice of two treatments or they can be upgraded to include them all for an extra £5.

There will be a raffle and Louise said that if any businesses can help by donating a prize, then to message Prestige on Facebook.
