St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham to hold service for World Suicide Prevention Day
A service will be held at a church to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.
St Wulfram’s church in Grantham will host the service on Sunday (September 10) at 6.30pm.
It will allow people to remember a loved one, and show support for suicide prevention and those affected by suicide.
The theme for this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day is “creating hope though action”.
A St Wulfram’s spokespersons said: “By creating hope through action we signal to people that there is hope, that we care and that we want to support them.
“It also suggests that our actions, no matter how big or small, may provide hope to those who are struggling.”
People at the service will be able to light a candle.
If you need support, the Samaritans can be called on 116 123.
