Citizens Advice Bureau launches new finance service in Grantham
A new money advice service has been launched in Grantham.
The computer-based service is available at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB)at the Guildhall Arts Centre.
South Kesteven CAB has won Government funding to provide the service, aimed at helping people cope with debt.
A self-serve computer will be available at the Guildhall on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9am and 3pm, for people to find information via the CAB website and other money advice services.
The new computer-based service will run alongside face-to-face help.
CAB manager for Grantham Amy Parish said: “We are still open on these days for a drop-in service and still able to offer full face-to-face appointments for anyone requiring budgeting advice, ways of dealing with debts including bankruptcy and debt relief orders together with more urgent assistance should anyone be at risk of eviction or in need of help to deal with bailiffs.
“We also have a specialist welfare benefits adviser.
“We would like to thank R&N Grantham for putting the computer in place, free of charge.”
