Baby clothes swap at St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham is not taking donations this month, but is still offering free clothes

A free baby clothes carousel that allows parents to donate and collect clothes for free is not taking any more donations for the time being.

Wulfram Bear’s Baby Clothes Carousel was launched by St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham back in September 2022, allowing parents of babies to donate and pick up baby clothes (ages 0 to 24 months), completely free of charge.

Mother Hannah set up the carousel after benefitting from a similar scheme in Oxfordshire whilst her little one was a baby.

Due to a “vast stock of clothes”, St Wufram’s are having to put a stop to donations this month and hope to spread the word as far and wide as possible for people to take whatever baby clothes they need for ages 0 to 24months, totally free of charge.

A spokesperson said: “We also have some shoes, sleep sacks, and nappies that we need to have gone. The next Baby Clothes Carousel will take place on Friday September 6.”

The clothes carousel is held every second Friday of the month after Wulfram Tots.
