Coronavirus case diagnosed in Lincolnshire

A case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Lincolnshire and another in Peterborough.

The person in Lincolnshire is believed to have contracted the virus while in Italy and was diagnosed after they returned.

They are one of 163 cases diagnosed in the UK since the start of the outbreak. Of these, 47 were diagnosed today (Friday, March 6).

One person has coronavirus in Northamptonshire, while there are no diagnosed cases in Rutland or Leicestershire.
