Coroner to open inquest into death of Grantham man in A52 lorry collision




An inquest will open this week into the death of a pedestrian who died on the A52 at Grantham, following a collision with a lorry.

The incident happened near the southbound junction with the A1 on July 11, involving a Grantham man and a HGV.

The pedestrian, Sean Gaynor, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest into the death of the 57-year-old will open on Wednesday in Lincoln. It will be adjourned shortly after for an investigation to be carried out in full by the coroner.
