Court round-up: Grantham area defendants brought before magistrates
Defendants brought before magistrates recently include:
Christopher Lawrence Hay, 31, of Market Place, Grantham: admits stealing a gear knob and five styling letters worth £35 from Halfords on October 30, and stealing a Lynx gift set, wax melts, hot plate and griddle set, razors, cable ties and a padlock worth £76.43 from B&M on October 31. He was fined £400 and ordered to pay compensation of £35, a £35 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
Joshua Aley, 22, of The Drive, Grantham: admits assaulting a female by beating and being drunk and disorderly, both on November 3. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200 and £85 costs.
Sandra Wendy Stafford, 53, of Middle Street, Stainby: admits driving a Range Rover Evoque in Stainby on November 3 with 114 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg. She was fined £250, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 25 months.
Elliot Jason Smart, 24, of Main Street, Honington: admitsfailing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis while in Lincoln on November 4. He was fined £250, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence endorsed with 10 penalty points.
Kerrie Frances Smith, 28, of Cambridge Street, Grantham: admits stealing six meat products worth £75 from Sainsbury’s on November 23, stealing two meat products and six Tassimo coffee pods from a Co-op store on November 25 and entering Sainsbury’s on November 23 when prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. She was committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £90.
Michael Robert Keightley, 23, of Lymn Court, Grantham: admits driving a BMW 3 Series on London Road, Grantham, on November 11 with 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £275, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 12 months.
Wayne Kirby Doughty, 43, of Norton Street, Grantham: admits being drunk and disorderly on Norton Street on November 24 and stealing a bottle of Champagne worth £39.99 from Majestic Wines on November 19. He was discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay compensation of £39.99.
Anthony Saunders, 38, of Truro Close, Grantham: admits stealing meat worth £102 from Sainsbury’s on November 29 and breaching bail conditions. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
Jake Geoffrey Deakin, 18, of Tyndal Road, Grantham: admits using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Grantham on July 8. He was made the subject of a community order including 40 hours’ unpaid work to be carried out within 12 months and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Marcin Kolanko, 32, of Hawthorne Court, Grantham: guilty of driving an Audi in Commercial Road, Grantham, on May 23 without insurance and with no MOT certificate. He was fined £660, told to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for six months.
Julie Cragg, 41, of Commercial Road, Grantham: admits stealing meat and crisps worth £50 from Sainsbury’s on July 27, She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £25 in compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Igors Kolkovskis, 57, of The Square, Barrowby: admits driving a Nissan Qashqi in Westgate, Grantham, on November 14 with 68mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 17 months.
Emma Louise Pauline Taylor, 36, of Sandon Road, Grantham: admits causing a male harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on St Peter’s Hill, Grantham, on November 28. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge. She was also detained in the courthouse and detention was deemed served by reason of time already spent in custody.
Owen Richard Ison, 19, of Houghton Road, Grantham: admits driving a Fiat vehicle in Harrowby Road, Grantham, on November 16 with 72mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, otherwise than in accordance with a licence and without insurance. He was fined £392, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85 and banned from driving for 20 months.
