Grantham firefighters called to Dry Doddington to tackle refuse fire

Grantham firefighters were called to a village street yesterday (Saturday) to deal with a refuse fire.

The crew attended the incident in Doddington Lane, Dry Doddington, at about 6.50pm.

They found one refuse sack containing garden waste on fire.

Crews used one hose reel, one thermal image camera and one drag to extinguish the fire.
