This is the winner in the 2023 Grantham Journal Cute Kids competition

We can now reveal the winners in the Journal’s 2023 Cute Kids competition.

Readers have been voting for their favourite picture, and now the votes are all counted we can announce the first, second and third place winners.

Congratulations to our first place Cute Kid, Ophelia-Alice Lebedeva. She wins the first place prize of a 20ins x 16ins canvas of the winning picture.

The second place prize of a 16ins x 12ins canvas goes to Nell Overton.

And the third place prize of a 12ins x 8ins canvas goes to Hudson Spencer.

Journal editor Marie Bond said: “Congratulations to the top three, and to all the little ones taking part.

“All the pictures were beautiful but there could only be one winner and two runners-up.

“Thank you to all the children taking part, and their parents and carers.

“Thanks also to Matalan for hosting the photography sessions, and also to photographer Andy Nield, from The Photography Company.”
