A football match in memory of Grantham father Danny Walsh has raised £2,805 for Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

The Daniel Walsh Memorial Day was held at Harrowby United Football Club and saw the Longnecks take on The Breathers, with the Longnecks the eventual winners by 7-3.

The match was followed by a big raffle, music and entertainment through the day and night. On the following day at the Three Gables, another fun-filled day was held with raffle prizes, live music, and a barbecue. Both events raised a total of £2805.16 for the ambucopter charity.
