Grantham defendants have appeared in court accused of offences including wounding, assault, making threats to kills and drugs possession.
The following defendants from the Grantham area have recently appeared in Lincolnshire courts.
Gregory Guille, aged 44, of London Road, Grantham, was found guilty of stealing eight pairs of Ralph Lauren slippers of value unknown belonging to TK MAXX in Grantham on December 9, 2022, after denying the offence. He was given a prison sentence of four months. He also denied, but was found guilty of, using threatening and or abusive language against another person on December 9, 2022, in Dysart Road, Grantham. He was jailed for two months to run concurrently. He also denied but was found guilty of possessing cannabis/cannabis resin in Grantham on December 13, 2022. He was given a two month jail sentence to run concurrently and the court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drug.
Kieran Bostock, aged 19, of Kestrel Court, Grantham, was sent Lincoln Crown Court to appear on July 10, 2023, for plea and trial preparation accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding a man at the Old Bank pub in High Street, Grantham, on June 10, with intent to do him grievous bodily harm. He was remanded on conditional bail.
Craig Brittain, aged 32, of Melbourne Road, Grantham, denies making threats to kill at an address in Grantham on June 9, 2023. He was remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on trial on July 17.
Emma Meadows, aged 42, of Cringleway, Great Ponton, pleaed guilty to drink driving on the A1 at Colsterworth on May 21, 2023, after the proportion of alcohol measured 84 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol. Meadows was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £300. She was ordered to pay a surcharge of £120 and costs of £85.
Gary Shuttlewood, aged 33, of Ball Mews, Grantham, pleaded guilty to posessing a knife in a public place in Grantham on April 29, 2023. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work and to undertake any activity required by a responsible offier for up to 20 days. A surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 were ordered.
Liam Curtis, aged 33, of Uplands Drive, Grantham, pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of heroin in Lincoln on January 17, 2023. He was fined £80 and the court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drug.
Lee Caldwell, aged 36, of New Street, Grantham, pleaded guilty to stealing vape liquid, valued at £300, from the Market Place Convenience Store, on April 2, 2023. He also pleaded guilty to stealing wine and other items worth £55 from Morrisons Daily in Grantham on the same date. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £85.
Stacey Corby, aged 35, of Castlegate, Grantham, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating in Barkston on March 18. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months. She was ordered to pay a surcharge of £26 and costs of £85.
Christopher Hay, aged 35, pleaded guilty to breaching a criminal behaviour order by attending Greggs and Costa Coffee in Grantham, from which he was prohibited from doing, on May 10. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £85. He also admitted attempting to steal sausage rolls worth £3.50 from Greggs on the same date. No separate penlaty was made for this offence.
