These are the latest ‘dozy parkers’ spotted in Grantham

“Awful parking” has caused one parent to cross a “lethal road” each day, as readers share photos of dozy parkers.

Journal readers have sent in photos of ‘dozy parking’ from the Grantham area, as part of an ongoing campaign to highlight parking that may cause problems for others.

One reader with a pushchair was faced with a dozy parker on Barrowby Road, which meant they had to cross over during the walk to school.

They said: “Awful parking! It has been here for a few days, potentially abandoned as it is untaxed.

“My pushchair doesn’t fit through through the gap and I am now forced to cross the road multiple times a day when heading to school and back at the most unsafe area of an already lethal road. “

Elsewhere, a reader has sent a photo of “one of the many” dozy parkers near Poplar Farm School, which shows “no consideration for residents’ or children and parents’ safety leaving the school on foot”.
