Grantham drone photographer’s pictures reveal impact of flooding and freezing temperatures in Lincolnshire
Drone photos reveal extensive flooding, cutting off roads and villages as residents are warned of incoming freezing temperatures.
Photos by Grantham-based Ben Cooke of Clear Skies Photography show several locations, including the Colsterworth Service Station on the A1 southbound.
The A1 is among the roads closed due to flooding caused by recent wet and snowy weather.
Grantham resident James Clark has also captured drone pictures of Belton Lane, in Grantham.
Flood warnings cover River West Glen (Corby Glen, Creeton), River Tham (Castle Bytham, Little Bytham), River East Glen, Billingborough Ousemere Lode, and Swaton Eau.
Road users are urged to take caution as temperatures drop below zero.
Lincolnshire County Council’s 43 gritters will treat county routes as icy conditions set in overnight.
