Third Big Business Event showcased over 50 businesses at Arena UK Show Centre near Grantham
A business networking event returned for the third time near Grantham.
The Big Business Event returned for its third event on Wednesday November 8 at Arena UK Show Centre near Allington.
With over 50 businesses exhibiting and a programme of workshops and networking for delegates to attend for free, the event welcomed businesses from across Lincolnshire and bordering counties.
Deborah Firmstone of Queen Bee & Co and Hannah Tomlinson of Globella; Marketing, Events and Networking, both local businesses owners, organised the event.
They said they have been “overwhelmed” by the response since the events launched in 2022.
‘’It is great to see businesses coming together to connect, develop relationships and partner with other likeminded businesses,” said Hannah.
“Deborah and I have the same values to support small to medium sized businesses so it is very important to us to ensure that it is kept affordable and delivered in a fun, casual way.
“If you are thinking of growing your existing business, starting a new venture or want to raise awareness of your brand, The Big Business Event is a must attend event for you.’’
The Big Business Event will be returning in 2024, with a new venue.
Harlaxton Manor will host the event on Thursday May 16 and plans are already in place to bring together more local businesses across the county.
There is a special early bird price of £150 for a stand until the end of December, and businesses can share a stand with another company, and split the cost.
Cameron Ford, owner of Reflect Recruitment, which has a base in Grantham, has been a sponsor for the past three events and is already signed up to sponsor the 2024 event.
Cameron said: ‘’We are proud to be involved with The Big Business Events.
“We’ve sponsored a number of events and will certainly continue to as we know that they provide excellent value to the businesses, organisations and sponsors who attend.
“It’s great at the events to see companies, both local and further afield, taking part so enthusiastically and making valuable and longstanding connections as a result of attending."
Deborah Wylie, of Honey Legal, who has exhibited at the past three events, said: ‘’The Big Business Event is always a highlight of my business year.
“It is a unique opportunity to see all of the great businesses in the surrounding area under one roof. The workshops provide structured networking opportunities, great advice and support to any business. I’d highly recommend it to businesses, old and new!’’
The Big Business Event is also expanding for 2024 and will host a Rutland and Leicestershire event on the October 10 at Rutland Hall Hotel.
