Fire crew battles blaze in Leadenham

Fire crews attended a fire in Leadenham.

Yesterday evening [Friday], a crew from Sleaford Fire and Rescue extinguished a chimney fire on Sleaford Road in Leadenham.

The incident, that reportedly took place at 17.26, caused fire damage to contents of chimney and light smoke damage to ground floor.

The crew managed to extinguish the blaze, caused by a build up of soot within chimney, using one hose reel and chimney gear.
