Fire crew called to put out flames after bonfire left to burn in Grantham




A bonfire left to burn led to firefighters being called yesterday (Saturday).

A crew from Grantham Fire Station were called to Harrowby Road, Grantham, just after 6.30pm.

Firefighters found a bonfire with waste wood and metal chairs on fire, which they extinguished using a water backpack and drag.

"Caused by a controlled burn left unattended," said Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
