Firefighters tackle South Witham vehicle fire

Two fire crews were called to tackle a car fire on the A1 Northbound, South Witham, last night.

The crews from Grantham and Corby Glen were called to the scene at 23:29 and extinguished the blaze using two hose reels and two breathing apparatus.

There was severe fire damage to 100 per cent of the vehicle.

There were no injuries.

Cause: Electrical fault.
