Five jobs created as electrical goods supplier moves into Grantham
A national supplier of electrical components is poised to open a new outlet in Grantham.
Edmundson Electrical, which operates 250 outlets around the country, has just agreed a lease on premises in Harlaxton Road.
The firm is to let units one two and three in Mayden Court.
The electrical goods supplier has agreed to a new 10-year lease for 4,863 sq ft of workshop, trade counter, office and showroom space.
It will pay an annual rent of £28,000.
Steve Stringfellow, store manager, said: “We will create five jobs at the store and expect to open on April 1.”
The premises are being let by the Hampson Property Group and the lease has been organised by commercial agents Savills.
Steve Hampson of the Hampson Property Group said: “We are delighted to be able to attract a national trading operator to Grantham, which we hope will assist in the continued prosperity of the town.
“National operators have tremendous choice of locations throughout the country, therefore as a developer the key task is not only securing them to a site but also promoting the town of Grantham itself and why they should have a presence.
He added: “We as a developer continue to invest in Grantham and raise local and national awareness of the potential the town has to offer.”
Victor Ktori, head of office at Savills Nottingham, said: “Mayden Court offers high quality workshop and trade counter space providing easy access to both the A1 and surrounding areas.
“This is the ideal location for Edmundson Electrical and we are pleased to have secured this deal on behalf of our client.”
