Flooding investigated in Grantham street

Flooding in a Grantham street is being investigated this morning following yesterday’s heavy rainfall.

Ward councillor Linda Wootten has called an emergency meeting with council officials and the Environment Agency to investigate the flooding in Cavendish Way which has affected several homes.

The heavy rainfall caused flash flooding on roads around the town and also affected Long Bennington again which was severely flooded recently due to drainage problems.
