Four men allegedly filled a trolley at Asda in Grantham and tried to leave without paying
A man has been charged with theft after he was reported to have filled a trolley with groceries and attempted to leave a store.
Lincolnshire Police officers were called to Asda in Grantham at 7.34pm on Wednesday to reports that a group of four men had filled a trolley and attempted to push it out of the store without making payment.
The group were stopped by security but left the scene before officers arrived.
Following local searches of the area, they found a man a short while later in Huntingtower Road who matched the description of one of the suspects.
Leon Razvan-Georgian, 24, of The Avenue in Tottenham, London, was arrested and charged with theft to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
