From chippy and truckfest to Stoke Rochford

Stoke Rochford Hall Hotel, near Grantham, has seen the arrival of new General Manager, John McKitterick, and Business Development Manager, Jessie Reeve.

John will be heading the team at the four star hotel, which recently became part of the Best Western chain. He began his career as a young boy in a fish and chip shop, but was soon promoted to restaurant manager. This gave him the perfect springboard into the world of hotels, working across the UK within a number of different venues from small boutique to large estates.

Jessie also has a number of years working in hotels including the Nottingham Belfry, Woodlands Hotel and the Lincoln Double Tree by Hilton, as well as in event management including organising Europe’s largest transport festivals ‘Truckfest’.

She says her new role is a dream job. “I attended a wedding at the hotel as a guest and just fell in love with it. It’s a wonderful place with a real wow factor .”
