Easter fun for Grantham's young and young at heart

Children from a Grantham nursery have been visiting Harrowby Lodge Nursing Home on a monthly basis to sing to the residents and to play with cuddly toys, balls and handmade games.

The residents enjoyed the recent Easter-themed visit, when the children from Little Explorers Nursery chose Easter bonnets for each resident to wear.

A flying egg game and a hook-a-duck game were enjoyed by everyone, and the children were delighted to receive a bag of chocolate eggs to take home with them as a thank you from the residents.

Harrowby Lodge resident Lesley Atkinson said the children’s visit is a highlight for her and that she cannot believe how well behaved they are.
