Grantham area defendants face the music in court
Grantham area defendants brought before the courts recently include:
Nicholas Simon Gill, 48, of North Parade, Grantham: admits driving an Audi A4 in North Parade on October 20 with 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg. He also admitted having in his possession a quantity of class B drug cannabis. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 18 months. The cannabis was seized and destroyed.
Graham Ronald Wright, 53, of no fixed address: found guilty of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at Grantham Hospital on August 4. He was discharged absolutely, imposed in view of psychiatric reports and time already spent in custody.
Martin John Cant, 59, of Marratts Lane, Great Gonerby: guilty of driving a vehicle in Grantham on April 17 with no MOT certificate. He was fined £43 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Joshua Carter, 24, of Sturrock Court, Grantham: guilty of driving a Ford vehicle in Bridge End Road, Grantham, with no insurance. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence was endorsed with eight penalty points.
Liam Douglas Grant, 30, of Kestrel Court, Grantham: guilty of driving a Ford vehicle in Bridge End Road, Grantham, on April 26 while using a hand-held mobile phone. He was fined £30, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence endorsed with six penalty points.
Tanya Lee, 53, of Harrowby Road, Grantham: guilty of driving a Vauxhall vehicle in Watergate, Grantham, on April 1 and failing to comply with red and green arrow traffic lights. She was fined £220, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
Deearna Mason, 26 of Green Street, Great Gonerby: guilty of using a Peugeot vehicle in High Street, Great Gonerby, without insurance, on September 12. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
Ethan Baden Smith, 20, of Trent Road, Grantham: guilty of driving a Vauxhall vehicle in Cambridge Street, Grantham, otherwise than in accordance with a licence, on April 6. He was £220, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and his driving licence endorsed with three penalty points.
Jake Ian Jamie Taylor, 22, of Lymn Court, Grantham: guilty of driving an Audi A3 in Lymn Court while using a hand-held mobile phone; driving without due care and attention; failing to stop when required to do so by a constable in uniform; driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence; and driving without insurance, all on February 17. Taylor was fined £600, ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence was endorsed with nine penalty points.
Timothy James Keith Macdonald, 42, of Brook Street, Grantham: guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Grantham on September 27. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Andrew Martin Foster, 42, of East Grove, Colsterworth: admits having in his possession a hunting knife on October 11 in Bridge End, Colsterworth. He was made the subject of a community order including a rehabilitation activity requirement and told to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The hunting knife was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
Krzysztof Wodz, 59, of Brewery Hill, Grantham: admits driving a Citroen C5 in Avenue Road, Grantham, with 59mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, on October 27. He was fined £356, ordered to pay a £36 victim surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 16 months.
Alexandre Martins, 49, of Witham Place, Grantham: admits entering Gurkha Square, in Wharf Road, Grantham, on October 31 as a trespasser and stealing £100 cash and bottles of alcohol. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £200 in compensation, a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Arket Pergjegji, 28, of Warmington Avenue, Grantham: admits driving a Volkswagen vehicle in Earlesfield Lane, Grantham, on May 1 while using a hand-held mobile phone. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
