Grantham auction to sell autographs of Cliff Richard, Albert Finney and other stars

The autographs of film stars, singers and other performers are going up for sale at an auction in Grantham on Wednesday (May 6).

Many of the autographs appear on White Hart headed paper, from the former hotel and pub on Grantham High Street, and have been collected by a local vendor.

They include those of film star Albert Finney, singer Cliff Richard and comedian Jimmy Tarbuck. There are several more local bands named also in what is a cache of local autographs.

The autographs will go on sale from 10am at Golding, Young and Mawer auction rooms in Old Wharf Road, Grantham, from 10am.

Furniture from the Rutland Arms in Woolsthorpe will also be auctioned.
