“The team at Apple Trees has excelled in the care domain to achieve this result.

“Everyone always goes above and beyond their roles to ensure the residents living in the home receive excellent, positive outcomes.

“The team has an inspirational leader in Denise Booth, whose dedication and innovation has put Apple Trees at the forefront of specialist dementia care.”

In the report, the CQC observed that “people received excellent care from staff who were highly dedicated, extremely compassionate, kind and caring” and that staff were frequently described by people as being a “part of the family”.

Feedback from people who used the service consistently described staff as “excellent”.

Residents at Apple Trees receive opportunities to participate in a varied activity programme, including community and social activities, and the home has good relationships with external healthcare professionals to support people with any health conditions.

The home is split into four households, with 16 bedrooms in each.
