Grantham firefighters tackle grassland blaze

Grantham fire crews were called to extinguish a blaze in Barrowby.

At 6.40pm yesterday (Thursday), crews tackled a grassland fire on Low Road.

It was caused by a controlled burn left unattended, causing fire damage to the grassland.

The crews used one water backpack, one hose reel jet and a rake to extinguish.
