Grantham Home Bargains store to relocate to former Homebase unit in Dysart Road

The Home Bargains store in Grantham will be relocated to the former Homebase unit on Dysart Road later this year.

The discount store has confirmed that it is seeking to relocate in September to Unit 1 on Dysart Retail park.

A spokesman for Home Bargains said: "We do have Unit 1, Dysart Retail Park, Grantham, down as a re-site that’s due to happen later this year. At the moment we’ve only got provisional dates for the opening, which is scheduled for September. This may be subject to change."

Homebase was one of scores of stores in the DIY chain to close last year. The Grantham store was the first to open on the retail park, but was closed by its owners at the end of last year.

Home Bargains opened its Grantham store on Sankt Augustin Way in 2005. A move to the Dysart Road unit would give it significantly more room to expand.
