Grantham Journal letter: I’m disappointed

I have been disappointed with the fire service and Grantham Lions charity trips round the area this year.

Last week the fire service were due – saw the fire engine hurrying past but no music or collectors and again this Monday for the Lions one.

When I asked one of the volunteers with the Lions one was told they had turned the music off because they had been harassed by kids around the area (possibly Earlesfield or top of Dysart Road). So no lovely Christmas music and charities lost out – what a shame.
