Grantham Journal letters: We must stop lorries using this route

It’s about time a stop was put to very large lorries using Harrowby Lane.

It’s not wide enough due to the cars parked there.

They should use Belton Lane, which was built for them and is wider.

Owners and managers of businesses on the Alma Park industrial estate should tell their staff and delivery drivers to use Belton Lane rather thaHarrowby Lane.

The school and doctor’s surgery on Harrowby Lane make the difficulties even worse. It needs a pedestrian crossing oustide the surgery and a 20mph speed limit. I fear someone could be killed, because cars and motorbikes are travelling at between 50 and 60mph.
