Grantham students meet Falklands war hero Simon Weston

King's School cadets and history students together with head master Simon Pickett attended a special event with Falklands War hero Simon Weston CBE this week.

Mr Weston gave a motivational talk at St Wulfram's Church about overcoming adversity and how to have a positive mental attitude. The talk was organised by Grantham's U3A.

Mr Weston is a former member of the Welsh Guards. He was badly burned during the 1982 war when the ship on which he was aboard with his regiment was attacked by Argentinian aircraft.
