Grantham youngsters doing their bit for the environment

A group of youngsters will be doing their bit for the environment next week as part of the National Citizen Service.

The youngsters will be litter picking on Monday in St Peter’s Hill and will then will hold a mini charity fete at St Mary’s Church on Thursday.

The fete will take place from 11am to 3.30pm and will feature a tombola, cakes and refreshments, music, throwing the wet sponse and other games.

The group is raising money for Guide Dogs and the Brain Tumour Charity.
