Great turnout at Grantham employer's recruitment day
Grantham’s largest private employer, Totemic, threw open its doors to prospective candidates last month to recruit for roles within its businesses.
Representatives from Clever Lending, Clever Mortgages, PayPlan, Paylink Solutions and the Totemic People-Engagement-Communication team were on hand to explain details of the positions available and chat to candidates about their career aspiration's.
Kate Price, Group HR Director said: “This was the first recruitment open day that we’ve held in a number of years and we couldn’t be more delighted with how the evening went. We opened the doors at 4pm and already had a queue of eager candidates waiting in reception by this point.”
Prospective candidates were able to visit each of the stalls to take away information on the roles available and register their interest for jobs by handing in their CVs. But the evening wasn’t all work, – each of the stalls held fun competitions to win bottles of bubbly and chocolates, too."
Kate added: “It was a fun, informal night and a great networking opportunity, too. By the end of the evening, we’d had at least 100 people through the doors."
