Arts Society Grantham to host lecture at the Guildhall which explores the legacy and work of Banksy
An art society will host a lecture on a famous street artist.
A lecture titled ‘Pepe Martinez: Banksy - Fraud or Genius’ has been organised by The Arts Society Grantham at the Guildhall Arts Centre.
The event will take place on Tuesday September 19, from 11am until around 12pm.
Banksy's humble beginnings as a tagger in the 80s transformed to one of the most recognisable names in art, and the lecture questions what his legacy will be.
If you would like to experience a free taster lecture of your choice, visit http://www.theartssocietygrantham.org.uk/, and contact Jane to book a place.
Complimentary tea and coffee will be available from 9.50am for members and guests.
