Man admits to assaulting three police officers in Grantham

A Grantham man has admitted to assaulting three police officers in the town.

Sam Desmond, aged 21, of Stuart Street, Grantham, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court yesterday (May 25) where he admitted assault by beating of three police officers in Grantham on May 6, 2023.

Desmond was given a community order to do 60 hours of unpaid work.

He was ordered to pay a surcharge of £114 and costs of £85.
