Grantham man charged with theft at Lloyd’s Pharmacy and possession of a knife
A 48-year-old man has been charged with shop theft and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
During proactive patrols at Westgate in Grantham yesterday (Wednesday), Lincolnshire Police officers arrested a man who was wanted in connection with a shop theft at Lloyd’s Pharmacy on the High Street.
The man is also alleged to have been found in possession of a knife during his arrest.
Carl Mason, of Union Street in Grantham, was remanded to court and is set to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday).
A police spokesperson said: “The Neighbourhood Policing Team in Grantham will continue to carry out proactive patrols in the area to tackle a variety of incidents.
“These types of offences will not be tolerated, and officers will continue to work to keep Lincolnshire the safest place to live, work and visit.”
