Man dies after collapsing this morning in Grantham

Police are investigating the death of a man who collapsed in Inner Street in Grantham this morning.

They are treating the man’s death as unexplained. Police were called at 12.38am.

The man, who was aged in his late 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

A police cordon has been put in place while enquiries continue.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around the time in case they have information that is relevant to the enquiry. Anybody with information should call the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 9 of January 20.
