Grantham man to return to court on breaking bail and theft charges




A Grantham man will appear on trial in court later this year after being charged with breaking bail conditions and the theft of items from a town centre cafe.

Lee Sentance, aged 45, of Harrowby Road, Grantham, has been charged with breaking bail conditions after he was arrested by a police officer on May 24. The condition is a curfew between the hours of 9pm and 7am. He denies the charge.

Sentance is also charged with the theft of a heater, speakers and lighting equipment to the value of about £1,000 belonging to The Snug cafe in Westgate, Grantham, on February 9, 2023.

The case was adjourned to September 4, 2023, at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

Sentance was given conditonal bail. He remains under curfew and is electronically monitored. The conditions also say he must not enter The Snug or try to contact one named person.
