Margaret Thatcher nutcracker found on sale at Grantham antiques store

An intriguing Margaret Thatcher memento was found this week at Notions antiques store in High Street,

Grantham.

The figure is actually a nutcracker. The plastic figure is in a box with a picture of Number 10 Downing Street on the front.

It is priced at £12 and was found among a collection of Maggie items including dishes and mugs.

A Daily Telegraph article entitled ‘The worst Christmas gifts of all time’ recently included a similar Maggie nutcracker.
