Mechanical fault caused car fire in Grantham street

Firefighters were called to a car fire on Tennyson Avenue, Grantham, this morning (Monday).

A Grantham crew attended the incident at around 11am and found flames were out on arrival - a hose reel was used to damp down.

An inspection found the fire was caused by a mechanical fault in the engine compartment.
