Memory Lane: Do you remember Grantham’s roller skating rink?

Courtney Finn, of Grantham Civic Society, kindly brought in these pictures of times gone by in Wharf Road, Grantham.

Two of the pictures feature the Premier Roller Skating Rink in Grantham – one is a more recent picture of Wharf Road in August 1983 where plenty of building work is going on, while the other shows the ruins of the building which housed it.

Also pictured is a poster advertising the rink.
